Susan Anderson, OTR, MPH, PhD

Susan is a medical anthropologist whose interest in herbalism began when she first encountered Malawian village medicine as a Peace Corp Volunteer. Since then, Susan has had the opportunity to study with senior teachers in Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine. In 2003, she received her Green Medicine certificate from New York’s Open Center; in 2008, she began studying with David Winston through the Center for Herbal Studies.

As an Occupational Therapist, Public Health practitioner, researcher and Herbalist, Susan has worked with people with allergies, infectious diseases, neurological diseases and injuries, malnutrition and many other conditions. She has also worked and consulted in the business world.
