ABOUT US
The RAG Shop has been owned and operated since 1997 by Trish Shunney. We operated as a consignment store for 9 years, as a niche market (with vendors) for one year and closed July 1, 2007 in anticipation of the building being purchased.
Ultimately, the sale did not go through* so we reopened August 14th, 2008 as a thrift store benefiting local non-profits, with all contents being donated by the public.
The non-profits we serve are:
• The Humane Society of Morgan County
• The Morgan Arts Council
• Morgan County Starting Points
• American Red Cross of Morgan County
• St. Vincent de Paul Society
Any Morgan County non-profit can choose to participate and donors choose which of the non-profits get the
proceeds from their donated items. Tax receipts are available.
